VSU Alangalang and VSU Tolosa celebrate their 50th golden anniversary! Partners of Hawaii-based East-West Center praise VSU’s radio school program. Our College of VetMed continues to rise above the national passing rate and produces 12 new doctors. And another batch of infra improvements for VSU Villaba.
VSU Alangalang’s golden year
In celebration of VSU Alangalang’s 50th founding anniversary, VSU President Edgardo E. Tulin expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the component college’s tremendous growth and collective achievement for 22 years under the VSU banner.
VSU Villaba on the rise
In our recent visit to VSU Villaba, we’ve seen the component college’s steady growth of ongoing and upcoming infrastructure projects. Some of its newly completed buildings include the final phase of multipurpose gym, an admin building annex, agro-meteorology station, and animal and crop science laboratories.
Globally-approved radio school program
East-West Center (EWC) International’s partners based in Hawaii gave their commendations to VSU for successfully implementing the School-on-the-Air on visual arts, mental health and environment, that also advocates EWC’s 60-year ongoing mission of helping build sustainable development growth in the Asia-Pacific region.
A dozen new #ProudViscan Vets
VSU’s College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) has yet again produced 12 new veterinarians, further propelling VSU’s rising record in producing licensed professionals in the medical field. This year, the institute obtained a 50% passing percentage, higher than the national passing percentage of 38.33%.
Another golden year! This time, VSU Tolosa.
Another component college in northeastern part of Leyte also celebrates a golden anniversary—VSU Tolosa. The VSU president also gave his celebratory speech in congratulating VSUT for this momentous milestone. Dr. Edgardo E. Tulin expressed his praises to the component college and wished for the campus’ projected continuous growth.

The offices are buzzing with preparations for many quality assurance activities, such as the Internal Quality Audit and AACCUP virtual accreditations.
The University Integrated Media Center continue with its preparations for the next #VSUGrad, set on September 30.
